the relationship with me

In my quest to find out whether manifestation is real, I came across plenty of things and jargon used:

  1. The Law of attraction
  2. Trusting you have received without questioning that faith
  3. Speaking positive affirmations
  4. Creating vision boards and plans

A video by Dr.Sid Warrier caught my attention

It made a lot of sense. When we think and speak positive thoughts, we stay focused on what we wish to achieve, draw up a clear cut plan and follow it, it is very likely we will achieve it. Another important point that he makes is, the amygdala is a part of the brain that needs to be calmed down. It needs to be told that something you desire is certainly coming. And it is the prefrontal cortex of the brain that makes choices. Choices may also be equal to there is a probability of me getting a car or not. So when you do not give any choice to the pre-frontal cortex, and tell it what you desire is coming, the brain is calm and suddenly has all the power to focus and achieve what it set out to do. Contrary to this, is the school of thought that says you don’t need to work hard to manifest. You believe it is given to you and things happen. There is also this thought about vibrating at a higher frequency or tuning in to the energy of achieving what you want.

I would like to pause here and state what I understand. Whether we believe it or not, we have been manifesting our desires. And it involves all the steps we have analysed so far:

  1. You need a de-cluttered mind with a clear goal – the key route to a clear mind is practising mindfulness
  2. Next you need a positive belief that what you desire desire will come true – It means you need to consistently believe that you will achieve what you aim to – plenty of people rest their faith in the divine or surrender to any higher power they believe in. That is one of the easiest ways to have firm faith.
  3. Following a written plan with SMART goals is the key to staying put.
  4. When you follow the first three points, you most definitely feel good and positive about achieving what you desire.

So if I have decoded it right, it is true we can manifest our desires. We have been doing so knowingly or unknowingly. The key lies in believing there are no two ways about it. But being clear in your head, can take some time. If you have a mind that keeps doubting itself daily, there is no chance of manifesting a thing.

P.S. Does following all the steps mean you will manifest in an instant or every single time?  Well, let me come back with it tomorrow. Until then, try experimenting to figure out how calm is your mind.
