Some days it is important to spend time with yourself. Alone, in solitude. Doing what you love doing most. So that’s exactly what I did. Sat on my couch like a potted plant for five hours straight. No, I did not watch TV. No, I did not scroll social. No, I did not make endless phone calls, barring one from a close friend.
So what did I do?
Edited a chapter of my upcoming book. I have a few more days to go with the editing. And then, I shall be excited to present the result of my couple of years worth of work to each and every one of you. My only hope with this book – you resonate with some part of the story and are able to call it your own.
A Tuesday well spent, shall we say?
And this is also my go to idea for getting rid of anything negative that tries to seek refuge in my mind – writing!
P.S. Words are not enough to express how happy I feel about this book. It is a different genre, not humour that I have written over the past ten years. I never once thought writing a novel would be my cup of tea! That playing with characters would be so much fun. And alone times would turn into meaningful solitude, not loneliness. On that happy note, it is a good night from me! See you tomorrow.
