writing prompts

There are days when you miss the midnight deadline to post your post. Well, I had guests over. But that is no excuse. When I knew I had a commitment, I should have planned. A cliched line comes to mind – if you fail to plan, you will plan to fail!

True indeed. While life happens when you are still planning, it is still important we plan. In the absence of a plan, we may be livving like fools. Not know what we want, not understanding where we are headed and not knowing what to do with life. It is alright even if things do not work  out. And we need to chart a new course. But living like weeds is not a great idea in perpetuity.

Especially, things like finances, education, asset planning, children and quality time. I believe writing one’s plans down and leaving some room for improvement are the best ways to stay on the path and stay accountable.

P.S. The most crucial decision for the day – write the blog in advance when you know your evening is going to be busy. Plan for all things big and small.
