Some days you slip into an overpowering routine. There is too much to do. School, lunches, final editing touches, birthdays and workouts, until it is time to finally crash into bed. And that’s when you realise, how little the scope of anything toxic cuts down to, when you are gainfully occupied.

Recently, I also discovered that brain is wired to cling to the negative. But if live with awareness, just replace that negative thought with something else. Something positive. Like they say, nip it in the bud. Change the topic, Find a distraction. Just break that chain. Even as little as thirty seconds are capable of shifting your focus.

The same can work for going from neutral to positive or positive to euphoric state of mind. And the ultimate goal of all these workings of the body and mind we work on?

To remain unaffected by any situations that we come across. The good is good. And the bad is also good. While everything good in life makes us complacent, it is the lows that challenge us and create a much needed transformation.

Ever since I realised that the obstacle presents a way, it feels great. Because there is nothing to feel stressed about. It is a like a puzzle meant to be solved. Another example of staying gainfully occupied.

P.S. Whether the mind works for you, or you work for the mind determines the quality of your life.
