Some days stress gets the better of you. But you have chores to do. And matters to attend to. As the day comes to a close, you remember you have another Golu to attend. Running from pillar to post, you get into the best ethnic costume you can and make it to Golu. Your head is still wrapped around the 1001 things that have been consuming you.

But this is no ordinary Golu. Apart from the usual paraphernalia of dolls on the steps, good food, meeting new people and making interesting conversations, this Golu happens to be at the residence of a very artistic family. Everyone has learned Carnatic music. The father even teaches Veena. As a result, my ears get treated to some soothing music sung by not just the host, but a group of his guests too. Teacher, students and the host. It sounds like a melodious ensemble of love, devotion, celebration and joy. The tunes, the notes and the sweet musical voices calm my soul instantly. My mind is able to let go worries and clutter in an instant.

We are also informed, the day of vijayalaxmi is an auspicious day to start something new. Well, I am planning to do something for my upcoming book launch. I feel thrilled.

P.S. A simple change in place, people and conversations can change the frequency you resonate with. Add in some calming live music, gadget free and you have instantly rewired your brain to attain something new, something bigger than all your previous plans!
