It is purely coincidental that my three month daily post anniversary falls on the the auspicious day of Dussehra, an Indian festival that marks the last day after the nine nights festival celebrated in order to offer reverence to Goddess Durga and her forms. On this last or tenth day, the demon Ravan, the ten-headed asura was slayed by lord Ram.
And I am thrilled to make two announcements.
- It’s time to celebrate my daily writing commitment. I hope it has made some dent in your lives. It has made a big one in mine
- I am beyond thrilled to announce that my first fiction novel is finally complete. And ready to hit markets next month. I hope all of you here will be a part of my writing journey. My only wish with this book is, may it reach as many readers as it possibly can. I have spent the last two years of my life working on it, staying motivated, staying excited, staying consistent and giving it my all. The feeling today is that of contentment and gratitude. I never thought I would write fiction, ever!
P.S. Sometimes, life has a plan of its own. It is bravery to give life all your trust and let it hand hold you through the ups and downs. Not everyone is happy taking the road less taken. Shall we say, I am one among the lucky few?
