I am not sure how much. But I would pay anything to be over the moon all the time. With reason. Without reason.

I am not sure if you have observed that we make goals. And when we achieve them, we make new ones. If we do not achieve the goal, we are naturally upset. And we spend our entire lifetimes chasing the highs from these so called happiness giving achievements and events. If we looked at the human race from the moon, perhaps we would appear like rats on a wheel. Going around in mindless circles.

Isn’t paying to go on the moon one of those Hi-Fi goals too? Why seek it in the first place?

Ultimately, we come back to being ourselves between the highs and lows of life. I bet I would love to be on cloud 9 or over the moon, just with the realisation that I exist. Irrespective of my qualities, talents, skills, accomplishments and worth.

That does not mean I have no goals or interests. But running on the hamster wheel with realisation that it is a role I am playing and clinging to a certain method to feel happy is nothing more than clinging or addiction would be the best place to be in. Living in the moment no matter what. And being able to let that moment fleet like sand from my palms, knowing well I have lived it to the fullest.

P.S. To be able to feel the joy of merely existing is what I would like more than going on the moon!
