And there are days when the best thing to do is laze in front of the TV, watching ads and songs from an era gone by. An era when I was young and younger. And it is chance discovery, how music from old times helps you engage in time travel. Every part of my brain and body feels 10 or even 30 years younger sometimes. And the feeling is great. It erases off any damage done by age or responsibility. And the zest to live and experience as my younger self takes center stage. While I sat there meeting my younger self, a thought crossed my mind.

If you ever listened to any manifestation podcast, I hear people commonly mention getting into a state of the future where you feel like you have achieved what you wish to. By feeling good, you change your frequency and therefore attract what you want. That’s the common logic every other manifestation teacher talks about. And while I do not vouch what they say, I know one thing for sure. Whatever you focus on, multiplies. And while it is sometimes difficult to brush aside doubt, a lack of confidence and logic in order to dream big, there is absolutely no hesitation in re-living the good old days from the past.

So logically, if you are feeling low, and a memory or a set of it can pull you out from misery, could that act like the fire starter? And once you feel happier, younger, more hopeful, would it then be easier to imagine a future of one’s choice? Without a trace of doubt? I am not sure. And I do not know if things work as per manifestation theories. But I am sure this is a fun ritual when done at regular intervals. And happiness is guaranteed. What you do with your elevated mood is up to you.

P.S. You need no age defying creams or medicines to feel younger. All you need is a slice from your past. Or those friends or situations from a time when you were actually happy and living in the moment. And once you get into that space, it can be that easy first step to stay positive and keep up hope and believe in your dreams.
